I'm good with that. What say the rest of you? Do we want to do an all day campaign? Place? Imperial Outpost is best for me but for a 1 day event I can drive. Hopefully we can schedule on my day off.

Here is a good discussion on a few things that some players don't like about the campaign aspect of the game:

And their recommendations:

Interesting read, but one thing screams out to me, this game has only been out for about two weeks, so how the heck did this guy get in so many games already? From the article it sounds like they had wizards above level 10!

Now there may be some issues with the rules, but I think we need to see for ourselves if these issues crop up first in our play through of the game. its easy to be a Monday morning quarterback rules author, I suggest we try it out first and see where it goes.

On a side note, I started painting the treasure tokens this morning, and they paint up easy. I also took my treasure tokens and mounted them onto a 1" fender washer to give them some weight.

Maybe the guy was in the playtest group?

I plan on playing the game as written...no worries there; just wanted to point out someone's opinion on it.

Plastic cultist set on the horizon. Probably tied to the "Thaw of the Lich Lord" book that will be out in November.

Is there enough people interested in this to run a campaign over a few weeks or months? I've been converting much of my fantasy stuff to round bases for Age of Sigmar and looking at what it takes to setup a war band for Frostgrave I should have everything I need and then some. Campaign skirmish games are some of my favorites once you get at least a solid core of players together. I'd be happy to commit to playing a few games in the evenings or on weekends each week if someone wants to organize a campaign.

I think that eventually there will be enough interest in a campaign. For now it's time to build up forces and get in a few one-off games to learn the rules.
