$37.25 for the army book... holy cow... I get that it's hardback, but.....

And, wow.. who'd have thought??? The Orcs are getting a large monster!! Who could have predicted such an unpredictable turn of events?!!?!?

I guess the armybook is priced inline with the uniforms and heraldry books which have come out recently... similar in size, quality and price.

Regarding the monster: It does look awesome. Rumors also have the current giant getting a points reduction with upgrades like the chaos/beastie one... but yeah, its a Spider-don, really (with upgrades just like one. Caster mount with stubborn idol/regular beastie/net or rock lobba options too.)

Personally, I like that Savage Orcs will have the options for bows... and that the Savage Orc Boar Boys will be able to take two choppas while being mounted (and get +1atk while doing so.) With the rumored +1str in the first round of any combat with any weapon this will be a huge bonus for the greenskins.

:blackeye: Sweet goodness... I feel like what the orcs are missing is some crazy tattoo wearing nut cases wielding a spear so big it takes two of them to do it. Ohhh wait they DID get that. Huh but goblin assassins now that was unexpected...

37.25 for a full color hardback is actually surprisingly reasonable. everything else is overpriced :)

I agree if it is tougher and the binding is solid I will get a lot of use out of it for sure.

When I first stared at the spider I thought the snotlings riding it were pretty cool looking models... Then I realised that "those arent pillows!" err, I mean snotlings... awesome model GW...

Anyone else thinking of convertng those savage orcs into 40K Snakebite orcs???

So in looking at the new book earlier this evening I notice that Goblin Chariots can be fielded in units of 1 to 3 each.

I totally thought the rumors meant it to be up to 3 per special choice... but for 150pts I can have a unit of 3 goblin chariots.

That is a great deal (amongst other good deals in the book.)
