Dark Eldar players

Postby dark_deco_fan » Tue Aug 25, 2015 4:16 pm

Is there anyone that plays Dark Eldar lurking about?

Looking for some general tips on how to play them.

I play the dark eldar. Venoms with dual splinter cannons are amazing. Corpsetheif is a must. Scalpel Squadron is a great thing for tournaments, allowing you to null-deploy. Wracks are mediocre. WWP's are great with allies, not really needed for DE unless you are using it for a grotesque unit. Blasters are beautiful. Reaver jetbikes, should only ever be upgraded with cluster caltrops, ranged weapon upgrades are a waste, since they HAVE TO jink every turn. Any thing else?

Corpse thief supported by allied warp spiders, particularly on an aspect host, is insane.

I was thinking of running 4 grotesques and a haemonculus in a raider. All with Liquifiers (First turn Feel No Pain 6+) 360 points.

I am pretty sure grotesques come with FnP stock. I don't have my book out in front of me. The main book's power from pain does not do much for the carnival of pain. The Haemunculous covens book's power from pain is amazing for the entire carnival.

They do. I was thinking more about what an HQ could bring to the group. Just read past the FnP of the grotesques.
