Beyond the gates of Antares

Postby wilkinson73 » Sat Nov 07, 2015 5:09 pm

Anyone interested in beyond the gates of Antares? Odessy Games has a bunch of the starters. I suggest if you want to pick it up you do so soon. The 290+ page hardback rules come with it.

I have a good sized algoryn force. I also pre-ordered a starter, just waiting for it to arrive.

I would be interested in this if there was a good way to convert my 40K collections over to these rules. I just can't see myself doing a whole new army when I have 4 huge sci-fi armies just sitting.

$112 IIRC. comes with a 290+ page hardback. Two sets of nice miniatures. I am reading the book now. Its rules are pretty detailed. Looks fun. Ill get the starter set together soon.

@DS when I get the starter set together maybe we could meet at the Card shop on Van buren and throw down using my starter miniatures at some point?

I saw it with him on Sat. Its a nice box and all but I agree, I have a ton of Scifi too and im just wondering if i really need to spend MORE money on dudes. I might get the book but even that one is a hefty 50 bucks (ton of fluff tho and I hear theyre going to release a fluff minus version for less)

Are any of the shops putting together any demos or anything? It is a great price for what you get.

So I was looking at the starter set and now have a question. The box set comes with two armies but are the Ghar its own faction or part of another faction? I did not see any additional models to purchase to expand that army like the others.

The Ghar are a separate faction. Thier list is in the rule book with the other 5 armies.
