Looking for an opinion on Napoleonics minis

Postby Lightningman » Wed Jun 05, 2013 3:44 pm

I'd very much like to get the opinions of those into historicals in general and napoleonics specifically on the miniatures on this website...

http://www.warmodellingminiatures.com/

I have a friend who wants to do some gaming in that setting and is considering ordering from these guys but I know there are a ton of companies that do minis in this time frame and scale so I am wondering what more experienced players think of them.

They are a little on the large size. Not too bad. They'll mix ok with other brands easily enough.
The figures are well sculpted. Depending on where you get them they can be a bit pricey.

For similar figures you can also look at Campaign Game Miniatures.
They're slightly smaller but very well sculpted as well.

The newer "Napoleon at War figures" are NOT 15mm as advertised.
They are a full 20mm if not 22mm. Not compatible with other 15mm ranges.
But very well sculpted.
HISTORICALS !!
