Im not in Flagstaff, in Prescott Valley. But I do have a lot of 15mm Napoleonic French and 1813+ Prussians. What rules you play? We game historical stuff on Mondays, one other guy n I. Up here in Prescott Valley we play DBA from time to time and have several armies in 15mm. Im starting to do a Sparticus army for big battle DBA (lotsa hordes!).

I'm up the hill in Prescott Valley but will travel. I used to play a lot of Jonny Reb II and then III. Also lots a Volley n Bayonet games for whole battles, don't have those rules anymore though. Was getting into a set of rules called Longstreet, a fun card driven game but really needs to be played ...

Smaller, the big battle was Buena Vista. The color of the Mexican units and the impact of the war, make it a must for the game table. Im thinking on doing up some Scale Creep minies as my first retirement project.

Mexican American War

Anyone gamming this period? I'm looking into painting up some 28's and trying Black Powder Rules on them. Any one tried this or maybe have a better rules set?
