Re: 30k?

I didn't think the 30k chapter specific rules were out for Thousand Sons yet. That's an army I have been looking forward to building for years.

Re: So... if there are no points in Age of Sigmar?

I dig it. With 40k getting ever more complex this is a breath of fresh air. I was greatly concerned and had my "bitter gamer face" in reserve waiting to be disappointed. Like most of you, I have been collecting, painting and playing for over 15yrs. I had to let go of the hopes this would b...

Re: 30k rules

I'm hearing of people really enjoying the 30k ruleset and options. If you're a fluff fan this really provides a great opportunity to see it on the tabletop. I'm anxious to get a more thorough look and try out a few games. I have a ton of Iron Hands that could use some play again.

Re: Questions about Airbrushes?

I will agree on the points above. I now have an Iwata dual action airbrush ( got the 40% discount from hobby lobby). And I have a cheap compressor that will soon be replaced. I now do all of my basecoating with it and any of the painting posts that I have done over the last year here were all done w...

Re: Nagash book, any thoughts?

I'm sure they have done this to be helpful, I mean who really wants one complete reference source anyway? Well, perhaps I'll just retire to the workshop and concentrate on painting again for a year.

Re: Nagash book, any thoughts?

I hope it's something I can actually build an army list from with complete rules, pores, wargear etc.

Re: Nagash book, any thoughts?

That's good to hear. But 3 more books scares my wallet. I'm just happy to potentially dust off my vampires, or at least play them like the dusty beasts they are.

Nagash book, any thoughts?

Hey all, I wanted to find out if anyone has been through the new book and what your thoughts might be. I'm considering buying it and I wanted to know if it's worthwhile.

Re: Might get back into 40k, is there enough people in AZ?

You're going to really enjoy it. I think you should watch a few battle reports on FrontlineGaming.org or a few other sources. You will see that 7th is actually really very cool and finally very dynamic with the mission variations. It's fun, more balanced and Wacky fun with the Maelstrom Mission card...
